To obtain the required compressed air to meet the gas requirements, the correct choice of adsorption dryer is an important prerequisite, configuration and selection are suitable to maximize the savings in regeneration energy and extend the life of the equipment. Before using the adsorption dryer, you must first learn how to choose the configuration of the desiccant dryer. The configuration and selection of adsorption dryers should start from the following aspects:

1, adsorption desiccant dryer configuration

In general, the adsorption dryer is almost rarely used alone, in all air compressor systems adsorption dryer is used with the filter package. This can meet the needs of the quality of gas used, but also the normal work of the adsorption dryer itself needs. A typical adsorption dryer system has three filters (pre-filter) in front of the inlet of the dryer and a precision filter after the exhaust port, their roles are: The main role of the pre-filter is to remove the liquid water droplets and solid particles of large particle size in the compressed air inlet, the general precision is selected between 3-1μm, recommended to use Betten S, P and U level The precision filter is installed at the back end of the dryer, mainly to remove 99.99% of the dust from the shrink air coming out of the dryer. It is recommended to use Lingyu high efficiency precision filter, the filtration precision can reach 0.01μm.

2、 Selection of adsorption desiccant dryer

(1) According to the enterprise gas requirements to choose. Dew point is the standard for marking the quality of compressed air, generally speaking, the lower the pressure dew point, the higher the quality. But not every enterprise needs high quality compressed air. Some companies only need dew point of -20 ℃ compressed air for dust blowing work, some companies need dew point of -70 ℃ compressed air to control pneumatic components and intelligent switches, etc.

(2) According to the regeneration method to choose. Finished gas dew point and regeneration energy consumption are the two main factors that must be considered when choosing an adsorption dryer. Generally speaking, both cannot be taken into account, that is, to obtain low dew point of compressed air, it must pay more energy costs. According to the adsorption theory, the only two basic forms of desiccant dryers are heatless regeneration and thermal regeneration. No heat regeneration dryer because of the variable pressure adsorption based on the use of a short-cycle working system, it is processed by the compressed air dew point in depth or stability than the heat regeneration dryer, and regeneration energy consumption has been very close to the theoretical bottom line.
